“This place is an absolute gem. The place is really cleverly appointed and has anything you could think of. Well maintained with many little (and generous) touches which make the stay even more amazing (maps with local tips, board games, fully equipped kitchen with basic ingredients to cook a quick food...). You’ll be looking at horses all the time, enjoying the calm atmosphere and walking around - just a perfect place to escape from busy lives. The location is easy to reach within half an hour of Oxford and many famous and beautiful Cotswold villages. From a moment you step in you can feel the love, effort and though which was put into making it such cosy place. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve been to. I would come back within a heartbeat!”

“Beautifully well appointed and far too luxurious to be called a “hut”!! It is so cosy and the bed is really comfortable, so with Classic FM on the radio it’s a perfectly lovely little retreat to escape from the world.”

“What a blissful and charming place to spend a day or two - we only had one night there, but Babette had thought of everything, even slippers, fresh eggs, super fluffy towels, local maps and games, a vase of flowers and chocolates for Easter. For such a tiny place it fits a lot in, the bed is really comfy and there’s a deck outside with a table and chairs which catches the sunrise. The view at night is of stars and during the day it is of wildflowers and horses in the adjoining field. We woke to birdsong and sunshine - but I think even in rain and wind it would be special and cosy, with good cooking facilities and a light bright bathroom with a great shower. The river is about a 20 minute walk away, and then you can follow the Thames path up or downriver to pubs and swimming spots and wild flower meadows. Overall a perfect and secluded spot for a romantic weekend or a retreat from all the hustle and bustle.”

“I stayed one night in the Starlight hut , and it was truly a Re - treat!!! the interior is designed with such care and taste, and offers a special atmosphere. I kept discovering new little details and objects . I was touched by how much thought and artistic design has gone into it. It felt like going on a little journey into a different world somehow . I recommend highly to stay in Starlight Hut. It truly is a place to leave everything behind and relax, and you couldn’t wish for a better host.”
